Desc: Stars and Bars Aflame: Directed by Banks Pappas. With Banks Pappas. If Andy Warhol and Ken Burns had a lovechild, and that child made a civil rights documentary, this would be it. Spanning over a decade of incidents within the time-line of the 'dirty southern' American state of Georgia and weaving them with the national perspective and progression of social, political and cultural events during the tumultuous decade of the 1960's, STARS AND BARS AFLAME attempts to illustrate the catalysts behind a riot in the city of Augusta, Georgia.
